Gizmodo has been told by an anonymous Circuit City employee that the store plans to exchange HD-DVD players for Blu-Ray players. He claims the terms of the exchange will apply to players purchased “within 3 months of the announcement”. I am assuming that refers to the announcement that Blu-Ray was won the format war against HD-DVD. He also says the exchange will not be heavily promoted, so if you want it, you will need to go to your local store and specifically ask.
