The NewTeeVee blog claims that Comcast is experimenting with frightening new methods of monitoring customers in their homes. They say Comcast cable boxes would contain a camera that recognizes household members based on body form, and use the information to serve up show recommendations and targeted advertising.
I wonder what percentage of people will slap a piece of duct tape over Comcast’s spy camera moments after the cable technician goes leaves the house.

What was the name of the 80’s tv show where the computers controlled all and it was illegal to shut off the television which (could hear and see) constantly broadcasting a 1984’s agenda?
So today you may get away with a piece of duct tape but if you allow it into your home at all it will only be a matter of time before they have a law passed. Oh, and don’t say that !I won’t stand for a law!, you stood by and allowed them into to your home didn’t you?
