All Things Marked shows you how to send text messages from AIM. The method is dead simple: add a buddy whose screen name is a ten digit phone number preceded by a plus (+) sign, then IM that buddy to send your txt. Not only is it easy, but it doesn’t put an outgoing charge on your phone bill (charges may apply for the recipient).
